Nepal Flood Emergency Relief Fund
Catastrophic late September flash floods and landslides claimed over 250 lives and displaced 8,000+ people across Nepal. CANFACS is raising a $10,000 CAD emergency fund, which will be disbursed directly to the Government of Nepal Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund (PMO Fund) on behalf of CANFACS and its members with public tracking.

Guiding newly arrived Nepali immigrants, skilled professionals, and international students in settling into Canadian life, navigating provincial accreditation, and securing career pathways.

Cultural Heritage Preservation & Multigenerational Festivals
Celebrating authentic Nepali traditions, language, art, music, and culinary heritage to maintain strong cultural roots among second-generation youth and share Nepal’s heritage with diverse Canadian communities.

Hosting the annual International Mount Everest Day (May 29) across Canadian cities to celebrate mountaineering excellence, Sherpa courage, and Himalayan environmental awareness.

Community Health, Pediatric Wellness & Senior Support
Promoting community health literacy, preventive wellness, mental health awareness, and elder support led by Nepali-Canadian physicians, pediatricians, and public health experts.

Nepal Flood Emergency Relief & PMO Fund (Active Campaign)
Mobilizing rapid emergency relief for families and children displaced by catastrophic monsoon flooding. All collected funds will be disbursed to the Nepal Government Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Disaster Relief Fund on behalf of CANFACS and its members, with public tracking on our website.
Key Activity Areas:
- • Target goal of $10,000 CAD to support national flood relief, drinking water restoration, and rural reconstruction.
- • Collected funds will be disbursed directly to the Government of Nepal PMO Disaster Relief Fund.
- • Full public disbursement tracking, wire confirmation, and donor honor roll published on this site.

Bilateral Diplomatic & Inter-Institutional Cooperation
Strengthening the historic friendship established in 1965 between Canada and Nepal through direct engagement with embassies, consulates, parliamentary bodies, and civil societies.

- • Close partnership with the Embassy of Nepal in Ottawa, the Honorary Consulate of Nepal in BC, and Canadian parliamentary representatives.

Emergency Humanitarian Relief & Disaster Resilience
Mobilizing rapid emergency assistance, medical relief, and rebuilding aid for vulnerable communities in Nepal during natural disasters, earthquakes, and humanitarian crises.

- • Fundraising and direct coordination with registered on-the-ground relief teams during earthquakes, landslides, and floods.
- • Procuring and distributing medical equipment, emergency blankets, winter supplies, and water purification resources.
